WHAT IS IT?
Map Enable is a free system that allows you add map functionality to your website without having to make any code changes to it. When adding an item to your site that you want mapped, you:
Insert a line of HTML code along with the item into YOUR website
Add information about the item into the MapEnable system
HOW DOES IT WORK?
When a visitor is browsing the item on your website and clicks on the HTML code you entered for the item (which is a link), a new window with a map appears. This contains a highlighted marker displaying the item the visitor is currently browsing. It also contain markers for all other items you have mapped on your site. The user can then zoom/pan in the map window and click other markers to see summary information about them. When they double click a marker, the main window is refreshed to show information about the associated item.
